Sterling Kitts, 1910 Friday, October 07, 1910, Clinch Valley News. Conductor Kitts Killed Yesterday. Popular Railroad Man Met Death Near Williamson. Leaves Large Family. Sterling Kitts, son of Charles Kitts, of Gratton, a freight conductor, was killed near Williamson yesterday, and will be taken to Gratton today for burial. The particulars of the death cannot be learned. Mr. Kitts was well known in Tazewell, and was one of the railroad company's most efficient employes. He leaves wife and several children.
