Lowe JEWELL RIDGE, Va. -- Mrs. Leotha Barbara Brown Lowe, 75, passed away Monday, Jan. 13, 2003, at her home following a brief illness. Born in Guymon, Okla., she was the daughter of the late James and Earnie Addington Pauley. Mrs. Lowe was a homemaker. She was a member of the Coldan Pentecostal Holiness Church and the Lord was her life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Otis Brown; second husband, Claude W. Lowe; one sister, Lillian Carpenter; and one brother, J.C. Pauley. Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Carol May and husband Buddy of Richlands, Mrs. Eva Musick and husband Otis of Richlands and Mrs. Lynna Breedlove and husband Mark of Pounding Mill, Va.; four sons, Larry Brown and wife Wanda of Jewel Ridge, Ronnie Brown and wife Denise of Jewell Ridge, David Brown and wife Wanda of Pine Creek, Va., and Ricky Brown and wife Rhonda of Richlands; two stepsons, Jimmy Lowe and wife Virginia of Richlands and Claude Junior Lowe and wife Kay of Walbash, Ind.; two sisters, Dorothy Keene of Jewell Ridge and Darlene Carr of Ohio; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and five step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Jan. 16, 2003, at 2 p.m. at Singleton Funeral Chapel in Cedar Bluff with Rev. Clarence Brown and Rev. Otis Musick officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Va. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Friends may call at Singleton Funeral Service from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Singleton Funeral Service is serving the Lowe family.
