DEATHS:
(Typed as written)

STEPHEN MATHENA, 85 years of age, died at his home at Tip Top Wednesday
night.  He was born and spent his entire life in the Tip Top section,
where he  was loved and respected by all who knew him

Funeral services will be held at 11 o’clock at the home Friday morning
and burial will be in the family cemetery.

He is survived by his wife and the following children: MRS. WILL TATE,
of Nemours;  MRS JUNE MATHENA, of Mud Fork; MRS EDD BARETT , of Nemours;
WILLIE DAWSON, of Tip Top; MRS PANSY WHITLOCK, of Roanoke; JOHN
MATHENA, of Tip Top; NOAH MATHENA, of Washington, D. C;  S. T. MATHENA ,
of Boissevain. There also survives 36 grandchildren and 27 great
grandchildren.
(Stephen Paris Mathena, s/o John Wilson Mathena &  Mary Havens . He was
married to Martha Ellen Tabor, d/o James Russell Tabor & Martha Jane
Havens
