TAZEWELL COUNTY, VA - OBITUARY - Luther W. Page, 30 Jan 1943 ----¤¤¤---- "Clinch Valley News: Tazewell, Tazewell Co., VA Friday February 5, 1943 Luther W. Page, a veteran locomotive engineer for the Norfolk and Western railway, died suddenly last Saturday at his home in Bluefield, W. Va. Mr. Page was born in 1876 in Montgomery County, Va., and at an early age came to West Va. He had been employed by the Norfolk and Western for the past fifty years. In 1913 he married Miss Lena Kelly, of Tazewell. The Kellys operated the hotel here for many years. Hie is survived by his wife and three children: James F. Page, Luther W. Page, Jr., and Coralie Witten Page, all of Bluefield, and the following brothers and sisters: W. W. Page, of Johnson City, Tenn.; Mrs. Olivia Smith, of Roanoke; Mrs. R. L. Roach, of Bluefield, and Mrs. H. B. Harvey of Roanoke. Mr Page was a member of the Methodist church, the Masons and Shrine.
