A telegram was received here yesterday announcing the death of M.
PERCIVAL, at San Diego, Cal. J. H. SLUSS, of this city, is a
brother-in-law of the deceased and will attend the funeral which will be
held at Dulln (sic), W. Va., the former home of the deceased. Mr.
PERCIVAL followed civil engineering throughout his life and until
recently when his health failed he was superintendent of Pittsburg
Consolidated Street Car Line. (sic)

[John Henry Sluss, Sr., s/o James & Clair Rinda (Gouldy) Sluss. I do not
have any sisters of J. H. Sluss married to a Percival so this must be
one of his wife’s sister’s  husband. J. H. Sluss’ wife was  Mary Goff
whom he married 12 May 1892 in Martin Co., KY].
