Price CEDAR BLUFF -- Miss Anita Gail Price, 35, of the College Estates section passed away Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2003, at University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, Va., following a brief illness. Born in Martinsville, Va., she was the daughter of Arthur (Ted) and Linda Elkins Price of College Estate Road. She had spent her entire life in Tazewell County. She attended Tazewell County schools and was a 1985 gradute of Lebanon High School. At the time of her death, she was employed as a customer service manager at Wal-Mart in Pounding Mill, Va. Miss Price was a member of Souls Harbor Church. She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, John Price; and maternal grandparents, Otis and Texie Elkins. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two brothers, Stephen Price and Wesley Price of College Estate Road; paternal grandmother, Vergie Price of Martinsville; and two special friends, Judith Kennedy and Anita York. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, at 2 p.m. at Singleton Funeral Chapel with Rev. Jack Keen and Rev. Jeff Rose officiating. Entombment will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Dicky Vandyke, Dean Rose, Keith Elkins, David Elkins, Todd Elkins and Scott Elkins. Honorary pallbearers will be managers of Wal-Mart and Roger Helton, Mitchell Stiltner and Robert Deel. Friends may call at Singleton Funeral Service from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday. Singleton Funeral Service is serving the Price family.
