Stella Mila (Creed) Pruett, 1983

Mrs. Mila (Stella) Pruett, 82, of Bandy, VA, died Friday, August 19, 1983 at
Clinch Valley Clinic in Richlands, VA, following a long illness.
Born in Tazewell County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Robert and 
Sarah (Whitt) Creed. She was a member of the Salem Primitive Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Allen Pruett.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Kathleen Stiltner of Sparta, OH, and Mrs. 
Paul (Pansy) O'quin of Bandy; one son, Oscar Lee Pruett of Bandy; one foster
daughter, Sarah Katherine Lockhart of Ohio; two foster sons, Kenneth Creed 
of Saudi Arabia and Harold Creed fo Rowe, VA; 12 grandchildren, and 25 
great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11am Sunday at the Tazewell County Funeral Home 
Chapel in Cedar Bluff with Elders Stuart Owens and Elder Willard Owens 
officiating.
Burial will follow in the Pruett Family Cemetery at Bandy.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
