Riley BATESBURG, S. C. -- Funeral services for Mr. Harold Bruce Riley will be conducted Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2003, at 2 p.m. at Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands with the Rev. Roger Lester and the Rev. Aldie Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens Cemetery in Claypool Hill, Va. Relatives and friends will serve as pallbearers. Members of Casey-Shortt VFW Post 9640 and Tazewell County Chapter 31 DAV will conduct military graveside rites. Friends may call after 6 p.m. Sunday evening at Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands. Mr. Riley, 69, formerly of Richlands, passed away Jan. 9, 2003, in a Lexington, S.C., medical center following a brief illness.
