SHAWVER MRS. LAVIA G. SHAWVER, aged 53, wife of W. L. SHAWVER, prominent farmer of Shawver Mill died at her home Saturday night, a victim of pneumonia. Funeral services were conducted at Chestnut Grove church, with REV. W. S. SIMPKINS in charge, assisted by REV. P. M. BLANKENSHIP, Monday afternoon. Burial was in Shawver cemetery. Mrs. Shawver was born August 20, 1883 on Bluestone in Tazewell county and was a daughter of the late A. P. and NAOMI NASH. She married Mr. Shawver in 1903. Surviving are her mother, her husband, and the following children; PAUL H. SHAWVER, of Bluefield, Va., WILL EDD SHAWVER, of Shawver Mill; MRS. B. T. BOURNE, of Iaeger, W. Va., CLYDE JACK SHAWVER, of Welch, and FRED FRANCIS SHAWVER , of Shawver Mill. The following brothers and sisters also survive: W. M. and F. W. NASH, of Shannondale; FRED T. and GEORGE NASH , and MRS. L. E. WALKER, of Bluefield, Va., MRS. R. L. HELMS of Bluefield, W. Va., MRS. GLEN MAHOOD, of Winston Salem, N. C.
