Obituary of Pauline Shelton, 1987 - Tazewell Co. VA

Pauline Shelton

Miss Pauline Shelton, 63, of Tazewell, died June 8 in a Richlands hospital following a long 
illness.
  She was born in Tazewell and was a daughter of the late James Monroe and Lucy Baldwin Shelton, 
both Tazewell County natives.
  She was a life long resident of the Tazewell County area.
  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Jason Shelton,
and one sister, Annie Shelton.
  Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Emmett (Edna) Addington of Vallscreek WV., Mrs. Rachel 
Custis of Casselberry, Fl., and Mrs. James (Rosa) Vanhoozier of Rt. 1, Pounding Mill; and one 
brother, Thomas E. Shelton of Colorado Springs, CO; and several nieces and nephews and a host 
of relatives and friends.
  Funeral services will be conducted today at 2 p.m. at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in 
Richlands with Rev. Don Blankenship officiating. 
  Interment will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill.
