DEATHS

GEORGE THOMPSON
GEORE W. THOMPSON, a widely known citizen of Gratton, died Tuesday
morning at the home of his son, ALBERT THOMPSON, after an illness of
several months.

He was born December 28, 1868, at Gratton, and was 67 years of old.
 His wife preceded him to the grave eighteen years ago. He is survived
by one sister, three brothers and seven children:

MRS. D. S. FOX, of Cove Creek (VA)

ALBERT THOMPSON, Of Tazewell (VA)
(I BELIEVE this George W. Thompson to be the s/o John Henry Thompson &
Flora Ann E. Wynn.) According to the census records, his  wife Maggie
Bource was the d/o Thomas M. Bourne &  wife, Lucinda M.).
