Obituary of Charles Vaughn - Tazewell Co. VA Funeral services for Charles Vaughn, 42, of Mud Fork, who was killed Friday night in a Pocahontas Fuel Co., mine at Bishop, Va., will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Pocahontas Union Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles Sublette will officiate, and burial will be in Grandview Memory Gardens, Bluefield, Va. Vaughn was a veteran of World War II, a member of UMWA Local 6025 and a member of IOOF Lodge at Bishop. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Helen Mitchem Vaughn; one son, Barney Vaughn; five daughters, Bonnie, Brenda, Betty, Barbara and Beverly Vaughn, all at home; and his mother, Mrs. Roxie Vaughn of Mud Fork. Pallbearers will be Greever Taylor, Jim Williams, T. C. Crockett, Buddy Sheppard, Walter Hedrick, Sylvan Wiley, Eugene and Hugh Shrader.
