Wagner (picture but no date) Bluefield Daily Telegraph Funeral services for C. M. (Boss) Wagner, 78, of Falls Mills, VA., will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at the residence, with burial in the family cemetery. Masons will be in charge of graveside rites. A prominent political figure in Tazewell County for many years and Tazewell County assessor for 20 years, he died Tuesday at his home after a long illness. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lottie Tabor Wagner; two sons, C. M. Wagner Jr., of Bluefield Va., and the Rev. J. D. Wagner of Bristol, Va.; two daughters, Mrs. Sol Tabor of Falls Mills and Eunice Wagner of the home; two brothers, M. L. and J. E. Wagner of Bluefield Va.; three sisters Mrs. J. G. Bailey and Mrs. S. E. Ayers of Falls Mills, and Mrs. W. M. Nash of Bluefield, Va.; ten grandchildren; one great - grandchild. Pallbears will be Blaine Baker, W. G. Perdue, J. E. Bailey, James Lester, G. B. Maxwell, Paul Bailey, Oscar Wagner, Herbert Dudley, Henry Hill, and Mack Nash. Wagner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
