Clarence Walters
    JEWELL RIDGE, Va. -- Funeral services for Mr. Clarence Walters will be 
conducted Wednesday at 3 p.m. at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands 
with Rev. Richard Stone officiating. Interment will follow in Greenhills Memory 
Gardens at Claypool Hill, Va. Pallbearers will be John Otis Altizer, Sonny 
Farmer, Edward Farmer, Ken Ratcliffe, Bill Stiltner and John Brown. Members of 
the Casey-Shortt VFW Post 9640 of Richlands and Disabled American Veterans 
Tazewell County Chapter 31 will conduct military graveside rites. 
    Mr. Walters, 83, died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2003, at a Richlands hospital 
following a brief illness.
