Born in Tazewell County, he was the son of the late Woodard and Oma Akemon Fouch. He was a retired welder with C & L Battery. He was a member of the Tazewell County Sportsman Club and was of the Methodist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Irene Stevens and Shirley Jewell; and four brothers, Beckner, Carson and Curt Fouch and Renos Hollins. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Jamie Lynn Shinall Fouch; one son, James Winston Fouch of the home; four daughters, Angela Marie Mitchem of Dayton, Ohio, Tara Ja'Mil Lawson of Raleigh, N.C., Te'Anna Lynn Laney of Bristol Tennessee, and He'Lana Leigh Fouch of the home; three brothers, Arwood Hollins of Orlando, Fla., Walter Hollins of Felicity, Ohio and Arnold Fouch of Cedar Bluff; and two sisters, Elizabeth (Lizzie) Cornett of Lebanon and Lorene Bostic of Rosedale, Va. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, 2002, at Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Va., with Rev. Aldie Allen officiating. Pallbearers will be James Bass, Dean Casey, Gregory Casey, Roger Casey, Nathan Witt, Clayton Wayne Casey and David Bales. The family will receive friends at Singleton Funeral Service in Cedar Bluff from 6-9 p.m. Friday. Singleton Funeral Service in Cedar Bluff is serving the Fouch family.
