BAKER-KINZER

GEORGE MARTIN BAKER, son of  ALFRED M. BAKER, of Lafolette, Tennessee,
and MISS ADA GRAY (KINZER), the attractive daughter of
MR.  and MRS. C. E. KINZER, of Abb’s Valley, were married here on last
Saturday morning, at the Christian church parsonage, by REV. W. S.
BULLARD.

The groom is a nephew of D. D. BAKER, of Pocahontas, and grandson of our
old friend, JAS. W.. BAKER, of Lafolette, Tennessee.

[I believe Ada Gray Kinzer to have been a daughter of Charles Edward
Kinzer, s/o  John Broce Kinzer & Clarissa Jennette Tabor who was the d/o
Richard Adam Tabor & Mildred Permeilia ‘Milly’ Shrader. Because I did
not get all of the 1910 Tazewell Co VA Cenus I can not definately
connect Ada Gray Kinzer. There is also a possibility that Ada Gray
Kinzer MIGHT be the d/o Charles Kinzer, s/o Thomas Burns Kinzer who was
the brother of John Broce Kinzer and Philip Kinzer. Philip Kinzer
married Margaret Lavenia Tabor also a d/o Richard &  Permelia Tabor. The
first wife of Charles Edward Kinzer was Arizona H. "Ora/Ari/Orri" Tabor,
March 1876-May  1919. Arizona Tabor, the d/o Samuel Flummer Tabor &
Charlotte Osborn.  The Thomas Burns Kinzer family lived mostly in Mercer
Co., WV rather than in the Tazewell Co., VA area. This also defines the
fact that James W. Baker was still in Lafolette, TN., as late as
September 5, 1919 before moving back to Tazewell Co., VA., to live with
his son, Dudley Davis  "D.D" Baker].
Perhaps someone can let me know the parents of Ada Gray (Kinzer) Baker,
please.
