HIGGINBOTHAM-SLUSS

   Miss Byrd Sluss, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Sluss, of Graham, and
Mr. Earl S. Higginbotham, of the same city, were quietly married at the
home of the bride in Graham last Friday. The ceremony occurred at 10:30
a. m. and was performed by the Rev. H. B. Brown, pastor of the Methodist
church. Mrs. Bowen Greever, sister of the bride, played the wedding
march. The newly wedded couple have gone to Craig Healing Springs to
spend their honeymoon. The groom is a son of the late Bane S.
Higginbotham, formerly of Bluefield.

Granddaughter of James Sluss & Clair Rinda Gouldy].
