POPULAR YOUNG COUPLE FLEE TO GRETNA GREEN

Miss Harmon, of Duhring, and Mr. Tabor, of Coopers, Off to Bristol

Miss Annie Belle Harmon, the pretty sixteen year old daughter of L. P.
Harmon, of Duhring, eloped to Bristol yesterday where she will be
married to Charles Tabor, of Coopers. The young lady's parents objected
owing to the age of the bride, but when notified took the matter
philosophically and said that if she did not care to stay with them
there was no way to mend the matter.

Mr. Tabor went down to Duhring in the baggage car of the Bluestone
passenger and Miss Harmon, aided by friends, effected her escape from
her home and took the train with her intended.

'Mandy' Bell who was a d/o James E. Bell  & Julie Ann Stowers. John
Calfee Tabor, s/o Stephen Harrison Tabor & Lucinda Obedience Deaton.
Annie Belle Harmon, b.19 Sep 1887 in Franklin Co., VA.  d/o Lemuel
Harmon and Sarah B. Arrington. As an added note: One of the daughters of
Charles Tabor & Annie Belle Harmon, Grace Lucille Tabor, married Herbert
Henry Gullion, s/o whose parents were Joseph Marion Gullion &  Cora
Caldone Gamble. Another daughter of Charles Tabor & Annie Belle Harmon,
Zola Pearl Tabor,  married George Robert Gullion, Sr., also a son of
Joseph Marion Gullion & Cora Caldone Gamble].
