L. Porter, of North Tazewell, announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Geneve Lee Porter, to Warren Edward Waters, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Waters, of South Norfolk, Va. The wedding took place Saturday evening at 8 o'clock, Sept. 25 in the South Norfolk Baptist church parsonage, in the presence of the immediate families and a few friends. The Rev. C. S. Sawyer performed the ceremony. The bride wore a suit of soldier blue with navy accessories, and a corsage of orchids. Miss Janis Porter, of Portsmouth, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. She wore a navy blue tailored suit wit navy blue accessories and a corsage of American beauty roses and lines of the valley. H. Wadell Waters, of Norfolk, was his brother's best man. Following a wedding trip through the Valley of Virginia, Mr. and Mrs. Waters will reside in the Admiral Road Apartments , Norfolk, Virginia.
