Daughter, Jinny--Negro girl, Lisa, but not as a slave, but to be under her care. Wife, Mary--land not heretofore disposed of. Four youngest children to have common schooling. Plantation on which I live to my four sons: John, Daniel, Samuel and Joel--to be equal ly divided. To rest of my children: five shillings each. Wife, Esther--tract of land whereon I now live with the addition of 124 acres being on the waters of Sinkhole Creek, and after her decease the whole of the land shall return to son, William Brown. Daughter, Elizabeth McGuire. Heirs of the body of my daughter, Mary Claypool, dec'd. Son, John Brown, one dollar as he had received his part. Daughter, Margaret. Daughter, Ann Brown, to have her home with her mother and son, William, during her single life. Daughter, Rebecca Shortridge, sons, Thomas Brown and James Brown--all my land in the State of Kentucky, also 200 acres of land on Steoe ? Creek on little Kennahway in the State of Virginia. Daughter, Sarah Oney, Son-in-Law, William Oney, to live with widow and son, William Brown, so long as the latter is in a state of infantism, and to be a guardian for him. Daughter, Katy Brown. Son-in- law, Joseph McGuire, William McGuire, and William Oney, also sons, John Brown, Thomas Brown, James Brown and William Brown--track of land known by the name of the Big Lick containing 67 acres. Whereas the heirs of Andrew Todd, dec'd. have brought suite for the land I sold Audley Campbell--if the suit should go in my favour, my executors herafter mentioned is forthwith directed to make the said Campbell a right to the same and if it should be decreed to the heirs Todd, my executors shall Campbell said heirs to comply with the decree.
