Crabtree the weste end of the tract of land I live on including the house I now live in commencing in a small mudy branch that wins out of the little mountain at the south east side of my land that being the first branch below a new cleared feald I have this year in corn thence running north a eleven west until it intercect the north side of my land that being bought of J.W. Sheffy and bounded by the land of James B. Crabtree on the west. 2nd I give and bequeath unto my sone Gabriel Crabtree all the land from the muddy branch and line above namds that lies on the south side of lorel fork allowing him the privelidge of cutivating and injoing the entire benefit and for his use to support opon but in no case is to sell or convey it away and if he shoud have heaers at his death this land shall be thirs but in the event he should have no children then it that event it shall belong to my daughters Rody and Catherine and Rees H. Crabtree. 3rd I give and devise unto my daughter Rody Crabtree the remaing part of my land that which lies on the north side lorel fork including the hous that Thomas Crabtree formerly resides in and bounded by the land of J.R. Buchanan on the east and as___ as the line above named defining the bounds of the above named Rees H. Crabtree land 4thI give and devise unto my son Rees H. Crabtree my water grist mill and all the land that belongs to it being five or six acres 5th Give and desire unto my daughter Catherine my slave Anna Waner Ann and her two children and Catherine is to have them until they are twenty one years of age thay are to be free at the end of that time that is the children are to be free not the mother 6th I give unto my son Rees H Crabtree a sorel horse I call his name bull ducus and saddle 5th I give unto my son Gabriel Crabtree one sorel horse three years old that he now clames my exetors to furnish him a saddle worth $15 8th I give unto my daughters Rody and Catherine all my household and kitchen furniture 9th I give unto my daughter Rody a sorel horse nowen by the name dune 11th I give unto my son Rees my rifle 10th I further direct that the balance of my property shall be sold and after all my just debts paid the balance of the money to be equally divided between my six duters. 13th I also direct that my exetors give up to my son Thomas B. Crabtree all note and acounts that may be found against him as I do relinquish them debt to him 14th I further appoint Henry George to act as my exetor in conformity to above will where of I hereunto set my hand and affixed my seale this twenty first day of July 1848 Gabriel Crabtree Sind sealed and published and declared by Gabriel Crabtree in and for his last will and testament and in his presence subscribed all names and witnesses Alexander Ward Soloman C Turley James R.
