That is to say: First} I desire that all my just debts and Funeral expense shall be paid out of my personal estate so soon after my decease as my executor hereinafter named can sell and collect enough to pay such debts and funeral expenses. Second} I give to my sister Catherine Hubble and her heirs for ever all my lands lying and being in the County of Tazewell in the Poor Valley. I also give and bequeath to her and her heirs all my personal property of every kind. Also my Negro girl Anne and her child Manda she the child being free by the will of my father at the age of twenty one and being the same slaves I purchased of her my sister Catherine and her husband. I also give to my sister Catherine and her heirs all the personal property bought from her and her husband. Thirdly} All the rest of my estate if any both real and personal of what nature or kind soever if it be not herein before disposed of I give to my sister Catherine Hubble and her heirs forever. And Lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my friend Harvey George my executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other or former Wills or Testaments by me heretofore made. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 19th day of September 1852. Harvey George her Rhoda X Crabtree mark S.H. Chiddis Henry Necessary Robert J. Stephenson Virginia: at a Court for Tazewell County held at the Court House on Wednesday the 1st day of December 1858. The last will and testament of Rhoda Crabtree deceased who this day produced to the Court and Samuel H. Chiddis a subscribing witness thereto came into court and being sworn says that the said will was signed by the testatrix in his presence and in the presence of Henry Necessary another subscribing witness thereto in the presence of the testatrix and in the presence of each other the handwriting of the said Henry Necessary being dead and the said will being fully proved was ordered to be recorded and Harvey George the executor named in said will refusing to act. On the motion of Eliphat Hubble who executed and acknowledged a bond in the penalty of plea with condition according to law which bond was approved and received by the court certificate is granted him for obtaining letters of Administration will the will annexed of the said Rhoda Crabtree deceased in due form.
