June 10th 1854, Will of Herndon Murphy Beinge concious of my approchinge death and beinge in my proper mind I am desirious to make this my last will and Testament I wish to divid my land and property as follows, The Sand Lick place or Survey I give to my Son John Murphy and my home Tract down to the McDonal field to my Son Henry Murphy and the Lustin place to my two daughters (words above the line crossed out and unreadable) for them to divide as they pleas when they become of age The home place & Lustin place and all of my personal property I Leave to Polly my wife by him payinge all my just debts & raisinge the children untill they become of age and then She may divid the personal property as she Sees proper.
