Norfolk - Final rites were held for Samuel R. Arrington of 1312 Bolton street
Saturday in Graves Funeral Chapel with interment in Betty Jones Cemetery.

Mr. Arrington died March 4 in his home.  He was a native of Smithfield, NC, and
a son of Mrs. Sallie Arrington and the late Thomas Arrington.  He was a veteran
of World War 1 and a retired merchant seaman.

Surviving, besides his mother, is a sister, Mrs. Marie Wooden of Norfolk.
