Norfolk - Charlie Bowe Jr., 87, of 2518 Campostella road died March 2 in a 
Petersburg hospital.

A native of Elizabeth City, NC, he was a son of Charlie Bowe Sr., and Mrs. Alice 
Bowe and the husband of the late Mrs. Minnie Bowe.

He is survived by three sons, John Bowe of Brooklyn NY, the Rev. Marshall Bowe 
of New Haven, CT, and Charlie Bowe of Chesapeake; and eight grandchildren.

A funeral service was held in New Rising Sun Holiness Church by the Rev. Moses 
Lewis with burial in Jones Memorial Park. Moseley Funeral Home was in charge.
