Norfolk Journal and Guide, Feb 13, 1971
Norfolk - John Thomas Bratcher Jr., of 632 Chapel street, died in a nursing 
home recently.

A native of Rocky Mount, NC, he was the son of John Bratcher Sr. and Mrs. 
Maggie Bratcher. He was employed by Seymour's Barbershop and was a musician.

He is survived by a brother, Franklin A. Bratcher of Portsmouth.

A funeral service was held in Hale Funeral Home by the Rev. Joseph M. Copeland 
with burial in Jones Memorial Park
