Norfolk - Funeral rites for Charles Brickhouse of 726 Goff street were conducted 
Aug. 23 in the chapel of B. F. King Funeral Home. The Rev. Benjamin Salter 
officiated.

A native of Columbia NC, he was a son of Ellis Brickhouse and the late Mrs. Lucy 
Whitehurst Vaughan.

Mr. Brickhouse worked at Virginia Electric & Power Company after retiring from 
Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a rigger’s helper.

Besides his father, surviving are two daughters, Miss Mildred Brickhouse and 
Delois Brickhouse; and an aunt, Mrs. Otelia Whitehurst, all of Norfolk.

Interment was in Jones Memorial Park
