Norfolk - Eddie Brooks of 914 Wood street, who died June 20 at his home, will 
receive final rites Saturday at 1 p.m. at Morning Glory Funeral Home.

Mr. Brooks was the son of the late Benders Brooks and Mrs. Lucy Brooks.  He was 
a native of Hyde County, NC.

Survivors include two nephews, Thomas Brooks of Hampton and Henry Brooks, New 
York;  a niece, Mrs. Lily Mae Addison of Hampton;  three half-brothers, Fred, 
Lathan, and Ray Peterson of Norfolk;  two half-sisters, Mrs. Florida Chambers of 
Norfolk and Mrs. Ollie Reynolds of New Jersey.

Per death certificate, burial was in Jones Memorial Park.
