Mrs. Myrtle S. Brown, 46, died February 13 in a local hospital.  She resided at 
Rt. 1 Box 18C, Bayside.  She was born in Princess Anne County and was the 
daughter of the late John and Mrs. Martha Fentress.

She is survived by her husband, Samuel Brown;  one son, John T. Fentress;  three 
brothers, Bonnie Fentress, Leroy Fentress, and Johnnie Fentress;  one sister, 
Mrs. Mary Walters of Ansonia CT.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, February 16 at 2:30 p.m. at the Union 
Baptist Church, Smith’s Corner.  The pastor, Rev. James, officiated.

Burial was in Betty Jones Cemetery with the Baker Funeral Home in charge.
