Norfolk - Lowell J. Brown of 1042 F. avenue, was given rites Sunday in Zion 
Light Church by the Rev. J. T. Jones.  Burial was in Betty Jones cemetery with 
Hale Funeral Home in charge.  Mr. Brown died May 25 in a hospital after a long 
illness.

A Norfolk native, he was a son of the late John W. Brown and Mrs. Mary E. Brown.  
He was retired from Oakwood Supply Company.

Surviving are his stepmother, Mrs. Bessie Brown, and a daughter, Miss gloria 
Warren, both of Norfolk;  a brother, Milton Brown of Baltimore;  and two 
sisters, Mrs. Sadie B. Moore and Miss Ruth Brown of Norfolk.
