Virginia Beach - A funeral service was conducted for Miss Amanda Brown, 74, of
1116 Old Virginia Beach road, Thursday in Hairston’s Funeral Chapel with the
Rev. L.W. Chase officiating. Miss Brown died Monday in a Norfolk nursing home
after a short illness.

A native of Surry County, she was a daughter of John and Mrs. Isabelle Brown.

She was a member of Rehoboth Baptist church.

Surviving is a niece. Interment was in Jones Memorial Park.
