Virginia Beach - Mrs. Sarah Cargile Burgess, 53, of 2003 Cypress Ave., the wife of 
Harvey Burgess, died Dec. 9 at 1523 Virginia Beach Blvd.

She was a native of Virginia Beach.

Besides her husband, survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Leona Epps of Virginia 
Beach.

A funeral service was held Dec. 12 in Upper Room Church on the Rock by Elder M. 
Riddick. Burial was in Jones Memorial Park with Hairston’s Funeral Home in charge.
