Horace E. Cavel, 43, who lived with an aunt, Mrs. Beulah Carmichael, at     316 
E. Brambleton avenue, received funeral rites on New Year’s Day at Riddick 
Funeral Chapel with the Rev. S. B. Lewis, pastor of First Baptist Church in 
Bolling Brook, officiating.

Mr. Cavel died Dec. 27 in a local hospital.  He was buried in Betty Jones 
Cemetery in Princess Anne County.

A native of Knoxville, TN, Mr. Cavel is survived by a brother, Frank Cavel of 
Norfolk, in addition to his aunt.
