Norfolk - A funeral service for Mrs. Armetter Charles of 1116 Chapel street 
was held in Hale Funeral Chapel July 14.  The Rev. J. L. Kearney officiated.  
Mrs. Charles died recently in a local hospital.

A native of Windsor, NC, she was the wife of Joseph Charles  and the daughter 
of the late Harry and Mrs. Willie A. Bazemore.

In addition to her husband, surviving are a brother, John Bazemore of 
Colerain, NC.
