Norfolk - Vandy Bill Coppage of 1240 W. 42nd street, the husband of Mrs. Rosa
Lee Coppage, died Saturday in a hospital.

A native of Bethel, NC, he was a son of the late Henry and Mrs. Littie S. Coppage.

Besides his widow, surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Lillie Mae Hill, Miss
Valerie Riddick, and Miss Shelie Riddick of Norfolk, and Mrs Christine Manning
of Williamston, NC; five brothers, Bishop James H. Coppage of Chesapeake,
William W. Coppage of Norfolk, Joe Coppage of Parmele, NC, Thomas Coppage of
Philadelphia, and Isaac Coppage of New York; a sister, Mrs. Maggie Stevenson of
Philadelphia; and five grandchildren.

Services were held in Hale Funeral Chapel by the Rev. J. L. Kearney. Burial was
in Jones Memorial Park, Virginia Beach.
