Mrs. Roberta Cornick, 79, of 2617 Mapleton avenue, was given final rites on
Sunday at Morning Star Baptist Church with the Rev. G. L. Parker officiating.

She was buried in Betty Jones Cemetery under direction of the Morning Glory
Funeral Home.

A native of Franklin and a member of the United Order of Tents, Mrs. Cornick is
survived by a daughter, Mrs. Lillie Toliver of Norfolk; a sister, Mrs. Annie
Gray of Brooklyn; two brothers Archie Turner of Bayside and Edward Turner of
Norfolk; a stepdaughter.
