Norfolk - Mrs Sadie Davis, 88, of 1444 Locust crescent received funeral rites 
Jan. 19 in Morning Star Baptist Church, Virginia Beach.  The Rev. J. H. London 
officiated.  She died Jan. 13.

A native of Annapolis MD, she was the widow of George Davis and a daughter of 
the late Washington and Mrs. Mary Johnson.

She was a member of the Senior Choir, Missionary Circle and Sunday School 
teacher at Morning Star Baptist Church.  She was also a member of the United 
Order of Tents.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mary Davis of Norfolk;  a son, Milton Davis 
of Virginia Beach;  a grandchild;  a great-grandchild;  and a great-great-
grandchild.

Interment was in Jones Memorial Park with Humphries Funeral Home in charge.
