Norfolk - Funeral rites for Mrs. Mary Dickens of 730 E. 25th street were held
Thursday in Metropolitan Funeral Chapel with Elder L. B. Richardson officiating.
Mrs. Dickens died Saturday in a nursing home after a long illness.

The Hamilton, NC, native was a daughter of the late George and Mrs. Sophia Dickens.

She was a member of Queen Street Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Clarence L. Reaves of Norfolk and George W. Reaves of
Hampton; two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Walker and Mrs. Mary R. Speed of Hampton;
and a grandchild.

Interment was in Jones Memorial Park.
