The infant daughter of Thomas Dowdy and Mrs. Margie Dowdy of 312 13th street, who 
died in a Portsmouth hospital, was given final rites last week in Betty Jones 
Cemetery.  Arrangements were made by Graves Funeral Home.

Born in Portsmouth, the child is survived by a sister, Tonie Dowdy;  its paternal 
grandparents, Stanley Dowdy and Mrs. Martha Dowdy of Columbus OH;  and its 
maternal grandparents, Ernest Ricks and Mrs. Arethia Ricks of Virginia Beach, in 
addition to its parents.
