Norfolk - Collins Q. Edwards Sr. of 1246 Chapel street, the husband of Mrs. Zula
Mary Edwards, died in a Charlottesville hospital after a long illness.

A native of Portsmouth, he was a son of the late Kenwood and Mrs. Virginia Edwards.

Besides his widow, surviving are a son, Collins Q. Edwards Jr. of Norfolk, and
three sisters, Mrs. Verges Johnson, Mrs. Ada Vines, and Mrs. Catherine Exum of
Portsmouth.

Services were held in Graves Funeral Home. Burial was in Jones Memorial Park,
Virginia Beach.
