Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, June 24, 1990 
Charles McKinley ``Shorty'' Elliott, of the 6600 block of Pilot Ave., died June
20, 1990.

Mr. Elliott, a native of Norfolk, was a Baptist.

Survivors include five daughters, Brenda Sawyer, Edith Elliott, Eunice Gibbs and
Renee Taylor, all of Norfolk, and Ramona Saeyerof Washington, D.C.; two sons,
Charles M. Elliott Jr. of Richmond and Robert Elliott of Norfolk; a sister,
Eunice Mae Greene of Norfolk; and 11 grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Mount Carmel Baptist Church
by the Rev. Clarence Russell. Burial will be in Betty Jones Cemetery . Friends
may join the family at the residence. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
