Norfolk Journal and Guide, Nov 18,1961
A funeral service was held Thursday at Smyrna Church of Christ for Willie 
Everett, 64, of 2907 Liberia drive, who died Nov. 13 at his home.

The Rev. Estelle Hodges officiated at the rites.  Burial was in Betty Jones 
Cemetery under direction of Warren Mortuary Service.

A native of North Carolina, Mr. Everett was a deacon of Smyrna church.  He lived 
in Norfolk 45 years and was employed by Norfolk Bag Company for 15 years.

His survivors include his wife, Mrs. Texanna Everett;  a stepson, John Carter;  
and a stepdaughter, Mrs. Elnora Ford.
