The Virginian Pilot Sunday July 3, 1988
Durwood Clifton "Possum" Ewell, 58, of the 500 block of Princess Anne Road, a 
retired cook, died July 1, 1988 in his home.

Mr. Ewell, a native of False Cape, Va., retired from the Road Runner. He was an 
Army Veteran of the Korean conflict.

Survivors include two sisters, Annie Craft and Louise Ewell, both of Virginia 
Beach.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday In Maestas Funeral Home 
by the Rev. Tommy J. Taylor.
