Virginia Beach - Funeral rites for Mrs. Annie Jordan Fife, who died May 1 and
left 90 descendants, were conducted Sunday at the House of Prayer for All People
by the Rev. Ernest Harris.  Burial was in Betty Jones Memorial Park with Hale
Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Fife died at her home, 6006 Pearl street, after a long illness.  She was a
Princess Anne County native and was a daughter of the late Alexander Rogers and
Mrs. Marie W. Rogers.

Surviving are a son, Wilson Jordan;  a daughter, Mrs. Arlethia Platts;  and a
sister, Mrs. Eva Copeland;  all of Norfolk;  10 grandchildren;  50
great-grandchildren;  and 27 great-great-grandchildren.
