Norfolk - Mrs. Martha Freeman of 656 Henry street received funeral rites Jan. 3
in Citizens Funeral Chapel. The Rev. V. J. Parker officiated.

A native of Hampton, she was a daughter of the Augustus and Mrs. Annie Birdsong.

She is survived by two brothers, Leonard Birdsong of Norfolk and Earley Birdsong
of New York; and a sister, Mrs. Pinkie Harriott of Los Angeles, CA.

Interment was in Jones Memorial Park.
