Norfolk Journal and Guide,April 7,1973
Norfolk - Wythe Gills of 1416 W. 40th street died in a hospital.

A native of Norfolk, he was a Baptist.

Surviving are three cousins, Rosa Christian, Bernadine Thornton, and William 
Thornton of Norfolk.

A funeral service was held in Jones Memorial Park, Virginian Beach. 
Metropolitan Funeral Home was in charge.
