Virginia Beach - A funeral service for George P. Gregory was held Saturday in
Hairston Funeral Home by the Rev. D. P. Felton.  Burial was in Jones Memorial
Park.  Mr. Gregory of 1915 Washington avenue, died recently in his home after a
short illness.  A native of Princess Anne County, he was a son of Lemuel and
Mrs. Lovine Gregory and the husband of Mrs. Catherine Gregory.  He worked for
the city of Virginia Beach.

Besides his widow, surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Hines;  two brothers,
Jacob Gregory and Ernest Gregory;  and two sisters, Mrs. Annie riccick and Mrs.
Cecil Woodhouse, all of Virginia Beach.
