Norfolk Journal and Guide,  May 3,1958
Funeral services for Mrs. Della Harris of 604 E. Brambleton avenue, will be 
conducted Sunday May 4 at Queen Street Baptist Church.  The Rev. J. Jasper 
Freeman will officiate and burial will be in Betty Jones Cemetery.

Mrs. Harris died at her home Monday after a long illness.  She was a daughter of 
the late Andrew and Mrs. Sarah Jackson, and the widow of Walter Harris.  A 
native of Hertford, NC, she had lived in Norfolk a number of years.

She was a member of the Ideal Benefit Association and the New Calvary Baptist 
Church.

Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Nellie Lawrence of Norfolk and one sister, Mrs. 
Sarah Sharp of Hertford.  Graves Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
