Norfolk - Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Harris of 221 W. 29th street were
conducted Monday in Graves Funeral Chapel. Interment followed in Betty Jones
Cemetery.

A native of Belvidere, NC, the deceased was a daughter of Benjamin and Mrs.
Ellen Hurdle and the widow of David Harris.

Mrs. Harris, who died April 6, is survived by a son, Walter Harris, and a
daughter, Mrs. Geneva Riddick, both of Norfolk; two brothers, Elsworth Hurdle of
New York and Hairston Hurdle of Hampton; and a sister, Mrs. Eliza Faison of Norfolk
