Virginia Beach - Funeral services for Mrs. Jane Crawley Henley of Birdneck road
near Laskin boulevard, were held Jan. 11 at one o’clock at First Lynnhaven
Baptist Church, with the pastor, the Rev. Jesse Smith, officiating.

Mrs. Henley had been a member of the church for over 30 years. She was the widow
of the late Jeremiah Henley. Solos were rendered by Miss Ethel M. Haynes and
Mrs. Cherry Sawyer. Active pall bearers were deacons of the church and George
Burford, deacon of Mount Olive Baptist.

Mrs. Henley is survived by two sisters, one brother, three daughters, one
adopted daughter, four sons and other relatives. Interment was in Betty Jones
Cemetery in Princess Anne County.
